Whether you’re ready to jump into the incredibly exciting world of online gaming in our state-of-the-art Esports Center, or you’re looking to expand your creativity, knowledge, leadership skills, or professional interests, New England Tech clubs and organizations have ample opportunities to join in and have fun. There are lots of ways to pursue your passion, and make lifelong friends at the same time, with one of our many exciting, engaging clubs.

  • Student Advisory Council

    The Student Advisory Council (SAC) serves as an advisory committee to 果冻传媒鈥檚 President and other university officials. The SAC provides a means for students to express their views and to provide input on policies and practices that directly affect the student body. Members are the student-elected presidents of technical clubs and the president of the Residence Hall Council.

  • Phi Theta Kappa

    Phi Theta Kappa membership at 果冻传媒 is open to students who have completed a minimum of 24 quarter credits with a cumulative GPA of 3.8 or above in an associate degree program. As a member, your academic excellence will be recognized with the Golden Key Membership Pin, membership certificate, identification card, notation of membership on your diploma and transcripts, and the privilege of wearing regalia at graduation that identifies you as a Phi Theta Kappa member. Learn more about the benefits of joining the Phi Theta Kappa honor society at . Four times a year, students meeting these criteria are contacted and offered the opportunity to become members. An induction ceremony is held annually at 果冻传媒.

  • Alpha Chi Honor Society

    Alpha Chi membership is a prestigious honor reserved for only the top 10% of bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 students in all academic fields. Alpha Chi recognizes and promotes scholarship and those elements of character that make scholarship effective for good. The top 10% is based on quarterly cumulative GPAs. As a member, your academic excellence will be recognized with a membership certificate, personalized membership card, lapel pin, notation of membership on your diploma and transcripts, and the privilege of wearing regalia at graduation that sets you apart as an Alpha Chi member. An induction ceremony is held annually at 果冻传媒.

  • Adventurers’ Guild Club

    The Adventurers鈥 Guild Club provides opportunities for all members to participate in multiplayer tabletop competitive and non-competitive games as well as participate in role-playing games, such as Anime and others.

  • Criminal Justice Club

    The Criminal Justice Club provides opportunities for students to expand their knowledge of the criminal justice field with guest speakers, field trips and involvement in local community service projects. The club promotes safety awareness to the campus community through campaigns and guest lecturer events.

  • Double Exposure

    Get involved if you are interested in learning more about聽writing, producing聽and executing聽your own talk shows in video or audio podcast format. Shows are shot live in the television studio, or recorded live in our radio booths.

  • Esports Club

    Join the 果冻传媒 Esports Club to experience the excitement of game competition with other members of the 果冻传媒 community as we prepare for competition with other colleges and universities.

  • Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA)

    The GSA supports LGBTQIA+ students by offering a safe space for encouragement and learning, enjoying social activities and development of friendships, and promoting awareness at our university.

  • Interior Design Student Alliance

    As a member of 果冻传媒鈥檚 IDSA Student Club, you can cultivate your leadership skills and acquire valuable networking opportunities. IDSA will have guest speakers and workshops that are geared toward the interests of Interior Design students.

  • New England Tech Student Nurses Association

    Join the New England Institute of Technology Student Nurses Association. The club鈥檚 purpose is to assume responsibility for contributing to nursing education in order to provide the highest quality health care; provide programs representative of fundamental interest and concerns to nursing students; aid in the development of the whole person, including his/her professional role, his/her responsibility for health care of people in all walks of life; and to promote and encourage participation in community affairs and activities towards health care and the resolution of related social issues.

  • New England Tech Golf Club

    Join the 果冻传媒 Golf Club if you would like to play or learn to play golf or improve your golf game. The golf club meets weekly to play on a 9-hole course. The opening of the golf club can start as early as March and will play through December (weather permitting). This offers a great opportunity to meet students from different programs.

  • Respiratory Care Club

    The Respiratory Care Club gives members the opportunity to plan and get involved in extracurricular and social activities pertaining to respiratory care, learn about current respiratory care trends in the profession and community, and meet other students and people with a common interest.

  • Rotaract Club

    Do you like making a difference? Then it鈥檚 time to join the Rotaract Club. The 果冻传媒 Rotaract Club brings students together to take action in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun. The 果冻传媒 Rotaract Club is affiliated with the East Greenwich (EG) Rotary Club, which gives members the opportunity to network with leaders from business and industry. Join the 果冻传媒 Rotaract Club if you have an interest in community service and want to develop your leadership and professional skills. Club members may volunteer at some of the EG Rotary Club鈥檚 events as well as several annual events, including the Kent YMCA, South Providence Neighborhood Ministries and the Scott Carlson Memorial ALS 5K. The club鈥檚 motto is 鈥淪ervice Above Self.鈥 Join the club and be a part of a great cause with a great group of students and have an amazing time.   • SkillsUSA

    SkillsUSA is one of the largest student-run leadership organizations in the country dedicated to technical high school and college students. One of 果冻传媒鈥檚 longest standing student clubs, SkillsUSA is a national organization whose mission includes empowering its members to become world-class workers and leaders. SkillsUSA programs include local, state and national competitions in which students demonstrate occupational and management skills. At the annual national-level SkillsUSA Championships, more than 6,000 students, including 果冻传媒 students, compete in 100 occupational and leadership skill areas. 果冻传媒 is very proud of the many students who return from the competitions as medal winners in their respective skill competitions.   • SAM: Society for Advancement of Management

    果冻传媒鈥檚 Society for Advancement of Management (SAM) chapter provides opportunities for club members to increase management skills and expertise through participation in programs, field trips, and service designed to improve the professional quality of their knowledge, performance, and leadership ability. Club members help coordinate local events for nonprofit organizations, consult with real businesses, and apply management theory to solve complex organization problems. The club also fields teams to SAM鈥檚 annual conference to compete in the prestigious case study competition and multi-event International Business Skills Championship. 果冻传媒鈥檚 chapter has earned multiple championships and competitors recognized as national outstanding students.   • SOTA Club: Student Occupational Therapy Association

    SOTA is a national organization open to all students enrolled in the Occupational Therapy program at 果冻传媒. SOTA members have an opportunity to meet new people, learn more about occupational therapy, and increase awareness about current issues in the profession. SOTA plans fundraising and social events throughout the year.

  • SPTA Club: Student Physical Therapist Assistant

    Join the Student Physical Therapist Assistant Club if you are interested in enriching and broadening your views and knowledge of the field of Physical Therapy and the role of the PTA in the medical field, and participating in community service opportunities and community/campus activities which promote awareness of physical therapy.

  • Surgical Technology Club

    The Surgical Technology Club is for students to meet and help one another understand and appreciate the Surgical Technology profession. Students will have the opportunity to grow as Surgical Technology professionals through teamwork, communication, networking and education.
