WHY:ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Because of the shortage of skilled workers in Rhode Island’s shipbuilding/marine and advanced manufacturing job market, New England Institute of Technology has collaborated with General Dynamics/Electric Boat Division, Senesco Marine, RI Carbide Tool, Guill Tool and Engineering, Swissline Precision, RI Marine Trades Association and the RI Manufacturers Association in the development of SAMI.
