Before the horrors in Amityville, there were conjurings听in Harrisville.
Based on the true life story of the Perron family, 鈥�The Conjuring鈥� movie tells the tale of how world renowned听paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse in wooded Harrisville, Rhode Island.

Perron will talk about her families鈥� experiences living in the house for 10 years during the 1970鈥檚 as well as the making of the film. Perron has written two volumes on the haunting entitled, House of Darkness, House of Light with a 3rd volume scheduled for future publication.听 James Wan, director of such movies as Saw and Dead Silence, has brought the Perron family鈥檚 experience to the big screen with The Conjuring.
Andrea Perron will be at the East Greenwich campus on October 24th at 7pm in the Media Presentation Room.
